IEEE ICDM Conference in HK

The IEEE ICDM conference in HK was quite interesting -especially the "panel" discussion on the last day. The Top 10 algorithms in data mining were "explained" and discussed. All the panelist did a wonderful job in explaining each of the algorithms. I think this was a great effort because it injected common knowledge into the data mining research community. At the minimum it will help us do a better job in reviewing papers.
